'Les Lauriers' has been inspected and approved by the Tregor Goelo Regional Tourist Board.
Our generously proportioned bedrooms have recently been renovated to a high standard, and each room has its own modern private ensuite, with shower etc.
You will also find complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdrier in your room.
Each room is equipped with a large double bed, however the rooms are of sufficient proportions to allow the provision of an additional single bed if required.
The spacious dining and lounge area is comfortable and well appointed, and guests can benefit from having their own private entrance in to the accommodation, as well as satellite TV.
We have ample parking space to the rear of the property, and you are welcome to explore our acre of secluded garden with its mature trees, shrubs and pond etc - feel free to ask if you would like to borrow a trowel for an hour or so..
We respectfully request no smoking within the property please, and we're sorry but we can't accept any pets.
Room rates for 2008 are as follows :-
Double occupancy incl. 'Continental' breakfast, 60 euros per night.
Additional single bed incl. breakfast, 15 euros per night.
The village of Keraudy is well placed to explore the many aspects of the Cotes d'Armor department, and especially the Pink Granite Coast, which is just a short drive from here. With its numerous fishing villages, broad sandy beaches, rocky outcrops and superb scenery, the coastline is a fascinating area to explore, and there are numerous opportunites for the watersports enthusiast.
Many of the towns in the area have regular outdoor markets, and three of the largest in Brittany can be found locally in Lannion, Morlaix and Plestin les Greves. Any of these is an ideal opportunity to sample the local produce, or maybe just take in the atmosphere whilst having a coffee and croissant at one of the pavement cafes.
For shopping, Lannion offers a selection of shops and boutiques, mainly located within an easy stroll of the pedestrianised town centre with its historical timber framed buildings.
There are also numerous coastal and countryside walks to be found, and a selection of maps and guides are available locally. Or why not try exploring some caves along the coast, or maybe a boat trip to the islands lying off the coast, or maybe a glass or two of the local Breton cider.
Lovers of fine cuisine will not be disappointed, with a wide choice of restaurants and creperies in the area, all offering a selection of regional and traditional menus. From the 'Plat du Jour', or 'Speciality of the Day' at about 11 euros, right up to a sumptuous five course meal with wine and cheese.
We are in regular contact with the local Tourist Board offices, so if you have any requests for specific activities or events taking place throughout the year, please let us know when making your booking and we'll try to assist, thereby saving you time when you get here. Similarly, we have some pre - prepared directions available of how to find us once you've arrived in the area - please let us know if you would like a copy emailing to you.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Alison & Martin Crosbie.
