Location

In the quiet location of Clugnat, nearest town Boussac about 12 Km away. Larger city Gueret 30 minutes drive away.


Property description

Friendly, rural village with its own lake and more nearby lakes.

Chez Shaun and Jude offers a warm welcome to our home. A nice place to relax but ideal for golf, fishing, cycling and rambling for the more adventurous. Lots of beautiful scenery and Chateaux Boussac ten minutes drive away.

Bed and full English breakfast and evening meal on request. All home cooked food, (English, Continental and Asian). Evening meal 10 euros including half a bottle of red or white wine per couple. Smoking not allowed in bedrooms but there is an area for smoking and also in the garden. No problem for parking. Pets not allowed.

All our rooms are en-suite with shower, wash basin and WC. Towels are provided. There are televisions in the rooms with DVD and DVD's to hire. Tea and coffee making facility in all rooms. Satellite television soon to be installed in bedrooms. We have a travel cot and high chair. Telephone calls available for small fee. Pleasant garden with terrace.

Local

Small lake in the village, many more lakes and rivers nearby with man made beaches and water activities. Golf courses nearby, fishing, swimming pools. Les Pierres Jaumatres nearby - famous rock formation ideal for ramblers and a Tarzan like adventure park where you can swing from trees and rope bridges and a crazy golf course and a smaller park for the younger children. Nearest town Boussac just ten minutes drive away. Visit the famous Chateaux Boussac. Visit the market on Thursday morning.


Travel

Fly to Limoges from Liverpool, East Midlands and Stansted airports (Ryan Air) or Manchester (Fly Be). We are one and a half hours from the airport. Cars can be hired from Limoges airport but we could also pick you up for a charge of 20 Euros.

Additional

English spoken with a little French and hopefully this will improve with time.
