The authentic 17th century house is situated in the heart of the village, behind the church. Secluded by a beautiful garden, you will be under the spell of its French ceilings, wooden floors and fireplaces.The two available rooms are decorated in a Gustavian style and can accommodate up to 4 people.
The 17th century house is located a one and a half hours drive from Lyon and one hour from Geneva right between the regions of Burgondy, Franche-Comté and Rhone-Alpes. A 6 km drive from the motorway exit it is situated behind the historic church in the heart of the small and tranquil village of Coligny on the road between Lons-le-Saunier and Bourg-en-Bresse (N.83).
The authentic 17th century house is very spacious and benefits from being surrounded by a beautiful, secluded garden, which lies in the shadows of an old cedar-tree from the Atlas Mountains and a 300 year old lime tree. Boasting French ceilings, large fireplaces and wooden floors throughout the house is surely going to enchant you and put you under its spell providing a marvellous place for a holiday or a quick break from the daily routine.
The two available rooms, separated by a small landing with sink, are decorated in a Gustavian style and can accommodate up to 4 people, which makes them ideal for families, but also for other groups and individuals. Depending on your needs and the number of people travelling, the rooms can be rented together or individually.
THE BEDROOMS
The first bedroom can host 2 people (sharing a 160 cm wide bed). It has beautiful French windows open directly onto the terrace and the adjacent garden and boasts its own fireplace. With its French ceiling, its and the wooden floor, it is full of charm and offers the perfect environment to escape into another world.
The second bedroom is equipped with a large single bed (110 cm) but can be equipped with a second one on demand. Like the other bedroom, it has a French ceiling and a wooden floor. It has a beautiful view overlooking the church and is the ideal place to relax in this beautiful part of France.
Guests have access to one large bathroom and will further be able to enjoy the benefits of a private and extensive living room, which opens into the beautiful garden.
Depending on your mood and the weather, breakfast will be served in the house's official dining room or on the terrace. If it's windy, it can also be served in the patio.

20 minutes away, Bourg-en-Bresse, chief town of the region. Youwill have the possibility to visit the beautiful Brou Royal Monastere from the 16 th century, which is sheduled as an ancient monument. You will also enjoy the old downtown Bourg en Bresse, with some parts dated from the Middle Ages, and shop in one of the biggest markets of the region.
25 minutes away you will be able to do various activities like canoe, windsurfing, catamaran, biking and swimming.
30 minutes away, the Birds Park of Villars les Dombes is one of the most popular birds park of Europe and the bigest in France.

Coming from the South: with the motorway, take the exit Nber 6 Treffort-St Etienne du Bois, direction Lons le Saunier and take the highway Nber 83 dring 10 km.
From Geneva: motorway A40, take the exit Nber 6 Bourg-en-Bresse and then take the highway Nber 83 towards Lons le Saunier for 10km.
From Macon: Motorway A40, take the exit Nber 6 and take the highway directio Lons le Saunier.
